About

Over a Century of History

For over a century, Buck Hill Falls has been a destination for families seeking to meet and reconnect to create memories. The original founders envisioned a summer retreat from nearby cities. Early planning created a serene haven over 4500+ acres of streamside glens, roaring waterfalls, ancient woods, and shaded paths. Despite Buck Hill Falls history of housing an extravagant 400+ room inn filled with world-travelers and famous visitors, the community remains a well-planned paradise, a well-kept secret.

Feels Like Home

Buck Hillers highly-value an active lifestyle and spend time enjoying sports and social/cultural activities at Buck Hill Falls. The community participates in 27-hole golf courses at the Buck Hill Golf Club, ten Har-Tru tennis courts at the Tennis Complex, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, two spectacular lawn bowling greens, 40+ miles of hiking and biking trails, and over a dozen other year-round recreational offerings. Social and cultural events abound at Buck Hill Falls and the community also enjoys a lively series of arts, concerts, environmental conservation, and educational seminars year-round.

Family, Friends, Neighbors

Fostering family traditions and closeness are a point of pride in Buck Hill Falls. Whether full-time residents, renters, or vacation visitors, families and neighbors enjoy and value the charming tranquility and safety of the sophisticated, yet low-key lifestyle Buck Hill has to offer.

Giving Back

Buck Hillers are not just involved in their own community, they care about our local and global community as well. With a focus on preserving and serving others, Buck Hillers participate in philanthropic endeavors for the greater good. The Buck Hill art association offers Artists in Residence, Music festival scholarships through the Pocono Music Festival, through land preservation via the Conservation Foundation, and through our annual charitable events and sponsorships to local organizations. Buck Hillers give back in individual ways too – volunteering for Meals on Wheels, helping out at local shelters, supporting the Barrett Paradise Friendly Library. Buck Hill is a community that reaches out and pulls together. We hand down our passion for giving to each new generation.
